Sian has worked in small animal practice following graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in London. Since then she has pursued further qualifications in veterinary dermatology from the University of Liverpool and now spends her time running a dedicated dermatology clinic where she see a wide variety of cases including pets with allergic skin disease, recurrent ear infections and unusual skin diseases. As many skin conditions require life long management she particularly enjoys working with pets and their owners to find the best tailored plans to suit the whole family.
She is kept busy outside of work with her three cosseted dogs and pair of mischievous Arabian horses.
Griet Monsieur DVM,MRCVS
Griet is originally from Belgium and graduated from Ghent University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She moved to the UK in 1993 to start her career in veterinary practice.
From 1995 to 2006 she worked at the Avenue Veterinary Surgery but left the practice to do locum work. This gave Griet flexibility to balance work and time with family in Belgium. It has allowed Griet to work in lots of different practices throughout the UK and gain valuable experience. We were pleased to welcome her back to the surgery in 2011 and she has been working for us on a part time basis since then.
Griet has a Border Collie called Ruby. In her spare time she enjoys walking and travelling with her partner Michael and Ruby.
