

Emma Spink BVMS MRCVS
Clinical Director
Emma graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1999. She worked in practices in Lincolnshire and Lancashire before moving to Redcar in 2006 to take on the role of clinical director. She not only carries out clinical duties as part of the veterinary team but is also responsible for the overall running of the practice. Emma is passionate about providing a friendly and supportive practice that cares for clients and their pets throughout their lives. At home she has eight tortoises, including an African Leopard Tortoise. Her spare time is spent caring for her three dogs, walking, growing fruit and veg and reading.


Clive Teare BVSc MRCVS
Clive qualified as a veterinary surgeon at Liverpool University Veterinary School in 1979. He worked in several practices all around the UK before opening the Avenue Veterinary Surgery in 1988. After working hard to make the practice a success he sold it to CVS UK Ltd in 2005. Clive continues to have close links to the practice and works part time at the surgery as well as working at another CVS owned practice in Middlesbrough. Now free from the responsibilities of practice management, Clive travels worldwide with his partner. He also enjoys walking and mountain biking.
